Interested in learning more about your health? The Charles B. Wang Community Health Center (CBWCHC) is proud to announce its annual health fair, Good Health Day 2011, on two dates:
Wednesday, August 3, 2011 (10a.m.-3p.m.) at the Sara D. Roosevelt Park in Chinatown, between Chrystie and Forsyth Streets Saturday, August 6, 2011 (10a.m.-3p.m.) at 136-26 37th Avenue, Flushing.
Good Health Day will feature FREE SCREENINGS for cholesterol, diabetes, hypertension and other health problems that are prevalent in the Asian American community. There will also be health activity booths that address health issues such as oral health, diabetes, cardiovascular health, pediatrics, and women’s health issue. Games, fun activities, and giveaways will be available for all ages, including as face painting, clowns, aerobics, music and cultural performances.
There will also be health and social service information on:
- Health Education
- Health Insurance
- Community Services
The CBWCHC is a non-profit community based health care facility that has been providing affordable and quality primary and specialty health care to Asian Americans for over 30 years.
