Be an ECAASU Intern! Here is a list of available positions:
2. Finance Team
Anyone interested in getting experience on ECAASU’s Finance Team should consider being a Committee Member. This position is open to all majors. We are not looking for someone who has experience in business, but rather someone who has strong communication skills, writing skills, and organization skills. Our committee will deal a lot with grant proposal writing for Sponsorships from various Foundations.
Anyone with positive skills in time management, teamwork, and communication should apply. This position will give you a broad understanding of the structure of ECAASU and how ECAASU functions from a non-profit financial structure. Contact: melinda.wang@ecaasu.org
3. E-news and Media Team
Looking for people interested in producing content relevant to the Asian American community. Writing will be posted on the ECAASU blog. Those interested will be writing and submitting their take on current event articles, editorials, videos etc. If you think you’re creative and enjoy writing then this is for you! Will be needed to do this roughly 2-3 times a month. Open to all majors- if you like writing and social media please contact: deanna.seid@ecaasu.org
4. Advocacy Team
The Advocacy team is looking for individuals committed to political and civic engagement within the Asian Pacific American community. Those interested would be actively involved in ongoing advocacy projects, in addition to conducting research, writing summary reports, and participating in educational outreach efforts. If you are interested in social service or community outreach work, this position will give you a broad understanding of how ECAASU operates as a non-profit organization.
