The East Coast Asian American Student Union is proud to present the ECAASU AAPI Student Experience (EASE) Project, a research study conducted by ECAASU in an effort to better understand the experiences of young Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPI) in the United States, with a focus on identities and intersections of identities in a higher education context. The results of this study will be used to identify patterns, commonalities, and divergences in the AAPI experience, to be publicly disseminated and available via ECAASU's official channels. To our knowledge, this is the first and most significant project to date looking at critical issues facing young AAPIs.

If you identify as AAPI in some way and are currently attending an institution of higher education for undergraduate study, you are eligible to participate in the EASE project! If you are interested, you may request to take the survey through the form below, where you will provide your .edu email to receive access to the survey to ensure your response is unique; none of your answers will be linked to any identifying information about you. The survey itself should take about 30 minutes, and all respondents have the option to receive an $8 Amazon gift card on a first come, first served basis.

If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please email Adary Zhang, Research Analyst, at

The EASE Project is not currently accepting new submissions. Stay tuned for our public reports on the data!
