Center for the Pacific Asian Family

Remember the Chase Community Fund competition on facebook? Well ECAASU didn't make it to the next round, but we're proud to support our fellow nonprofits doing life-changing work in our communities. Teddy Zee , the director of many Hollywood films like HITCH, Saving Face, and Pursuit of Happyness, contacted us about helping him and hundreds of actors, singers, performers, and other major talent reach out to our ECAASU members to vote for the

Center for the Pacific Asian Family.

This Los Angeles based nonprofit is dedicated to helping victims of domestic violence and sexual assault and raising awareness about domestic violence. CPAF created the first Multi-lingual 24 hour Hotline in the entire nation!!

The $1,000,000 would help them continue providing emergency shelters, transitional housing, counseling services, community outreach programs, and immeasurable support to these victims and their families. It would also fund a joint hotline for 20 domestic violence shelters and 6 rape crisis centers and include online chat to help make services more accessible to victims.

So click on the link below and vote by January 22!!
