Phoebe Balascio

Phoebe is a Chinese American adoptee and a student at the University of Delaware majoring in Biomedical Engineering with minors in Exercise Science and Disabilities Studies. She wants to attend physical therapy school after graduation. At UD, she serves on Executive Board for the APIA Student Leadership Council, participates in undergraduate research, and engages in the University community as a Social Media Ambassador. Outside of school, she works part-time as a swim instructor and is a Board Member of China's Children International (an online organization for Chinese adoptees). Phoebe first learned of ECAASU through the Campus Tours program and attended her first Conference in 2018; she hopes to inspire college leaders to learn more about APIA issues and discover ways impact their own communities.
