Samantha Ng

Samantha is a senior at Binghamton University double majoring in Asian & Asian American Studies and Human Development with a minor in Immigration Studies. At her university, she serves as the Senior Advisor for the Asian Student Union. In the past, Samantha has advanced civic participation within her university's Asian American community and broader campus. Hailing from New York City, Samantha seeks ways to actively resist gentrification and discrimination perpetuated against communities of color and Asian American communities. Her engagement in community organizing and advocacy started in her freshman year of high school as a volunteer with the Chinese American Planning Council and later as a senior in high school as a Youth Advocate for the Coalition for Asian American Children and Families. In her free time, Samantha enjoys reading and visiting alpaca farms in upstate New York.

Previously, Samantha served as Development Coordinator and Community Partnership Coordinator.
