Theresa is Chinese Indonesian American from Boston, MA. She graduated from Brandeis University in 2017 with degrees in Biology and Health Policy and is currently working as a clinical assistant at a dermatology office. She aspires to serve as a physician and combine her passions for advocacy and medicine to help address individual and institutional barriers to accessing healthcare.
Theresa served as the President of the Brandeis Asian American Students Association, was one of the Executive Directors of the 2017 Brandeis Diversity Conference, and was a member of the Faculty-Student Committee on Asian American Pacific Islander Studies. She is passionate about empowering APIA students to become more active and visible in their communities and destigmatizing conversations regarding sexual harassment/assault and mental health. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, exploring cafes, and binge watching YouTube beauty vlog videos. She is also always looking for new food recommendations, and someone who is willing to tutor her in Indonesian.
