Do you know a student who is paving the way and blazing trails for activism and advocacy in the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community?

We’re looking for nominations for the ECAASU 2019 Trailblazer Award, which is awarded to an individual with financial need who has gone above and beyond to inspire, educate, and empower Asian Americans and/or Pacific Islanders in their community. A community can be an entire university campus, a student organization, or a group outside the context of a school. This individual will be honored during the Closing Ceremony at the 2019 ECAASU Conference. The recipient will receive a monetary award.

  2. Must be enrolled in high school, a 2- or 4- year institution of higher learning, or a trade/technical program

  3. Must be in good academic standing at their current institution

  4. Must have demonstrated financial need
