Meet Board of Directors 2026-2027

Minh-Thu is a Vietnamese American based in Raleigh, NC. She is honored to serve as the Chair of the Board of Directors for a second term. Minh-Thu is also a volunteer and organizer for local Southern radical efforts. In her free time, she enjoys creating zines, cooking, and singing!

Tiffany is a Chinese American woman who is a recent graduate student from Boston University with a Master of Science in Epidemiology. In 2024, she graduated from the University of Vermont with a double Bachelors' in Health & Society and Chinese where she was heavily involved with the community. Eventually, Tiffany would love to obtain a Ph.D. in Epidemiology and educate the next generation of college students. In her free time, Tiffany enjoys reading, knitting, and dragging her friends to the climbing gym.

He is a second-year graduate student pursuing an MFA in Creative Writing at the University of Miami. In his undergraduate career at Florida State University, Sean was involved in the Asian American Student Union, South Asian Student Association, and the Beta Theta Chapter of Lambda Phi Epsilon International Fraternity Inc. In his free time, Sean can be found writing and performing music, reading, skateboarding, or reminiscing about “Doogal” (2006).

He is a Chinese American from Springfield, Virginia, who currently serves as the Advocacy Coordinator on ECAASU’s Board of Directors. He joined ECAASU in 2023 as a co-executive conference director, then spent two years on the National Board as a Community Empowerment Coordinator and Journal Coordinator. Gordon graduated from the University of Virginia with a major in English literature and minors in Chinese and Asian Pacific American Studies, and this fall he kicks off another three years in academia as a 1L at the Emory University School of Law. In his spare time, Gordon enjoys boxing and writing Letterboxd reviews which range in quality from film bro-esque to deeply unserious.

They are a graduate student at Columbia University in the East Asian Languages and Culture department studying mixed ethnic imperial subjectivities. As a Taiwanese-Japanese in their mid-twenties, Lenapehoking, or New York City, remains their home. In their off time, they love finding community spaces, continuing to participate in grassroots LGBTQ+ organizing work, and co-learning alongside community members. A huge believer in the humanities in academic and non-academic settings, you can always find them reading books and articles at home, on the subway, or in local restaurants and cafés.

He is a Transracial Chinese Adoptee, LGBTQ+, an Ambulatory Wheelchair User, and Disabled. An alumnus of Florida International University with a double degree in a B.A. They are an intersectional advocate focused on information sharing, coalition building, community building, and sustainability, as well as long-term planning. He is also a professional photographer.

Angel is an Asian-American youth advocate currently located in Washington, D.C., where she got her B.A. at the George Washington University. The proud daughter of two Chinese immigrants and a jiejie to a brother, she grew up in Midwestern Chinese schools and badminton lessons, which sparked her passion for cultivating resilient, tight-knit communities. From grassroots base-building to political education, Angel embraces all the nitty gritty of movement building. In college, her organizing work mainly revolved around Asian-American advocacy, labor justice, and civil rights advocacy. She is now pursuing a career in urban education.
