Host an ECAASU Campus Summit

Receive national support to create programming for your community.

ECAASU Campus Summits are regional events coordinated with your organization or university to educate, advocate and engage students that are interested in A/A issues to promote a more diverse and inclusive world. We will work with you to identify important issues  pertinent to your specific university,  city or region, and create a curriculum that will help attendees gain a greater understanding of those issues by  listening to different points of view and engaging in meaningful conversation with peers and the larger A/A community.

Going Beyond Conference.

The ECAASU Conference is a way for people to delve into issues often seen as taboo and actively engage with others. The ECAASU Campus Summits are a way for you to begin or to continue the conversation, and create a space in which people are actively thinking, listening and communicating with one another.

In the past, ECAASU Campus Summits have featured networking opportunities, guest speakers, leadership development workshops, action plan trainings, and town hall discussions. By hosting a Campus Summit, you will be able to plan your event with the ECAASU National Board in order to make sure your vision is able to come into fruition.

Interest forms for hosting 2022-2023 campus summits will be updated soon.

There’s no typical budget. It has cost as little as $50 and as much as $700. It depends on how simple or elaborate of an event you want to organize.

As with anything, we believe that the more you put into it, the more you get out of it. The ECAASU National Board will help you to determine your goals and intended impact and continue to work with you in order to make your vision come into fruition.

Past speakers have included nonprofit directors, distinguished alumni, and of course, those on ECAASU National Board and its Board of Directors.

Each Campus Summit is different, and the content and event timeline will be dependent on your goals. Possible elements include a town hall discussion, a guest speaker, workshops, and the action plan training.
